What this site is for

A new category of tools promises to turn a plain-English sentence into a working app. There are now eight serious contenders, and they are not interchangeable — the right one depends entirely on whether you're a complete beginner, a designer, a tinkerer, or someone who already writes code. NoCodeAppGuide exists to make that choice fast and honest: hands-on comparisons of features, pricing and trade-offs, with no marketing gloss.

How we test and rank

We ignore marketing pages. Every tool gets the same build brief — take a non-technical idea and try to ship a working app — and we judge the experience a real builder feels, across four criteria:

Scores reflect that hands-on testing. When a tool has no affiliate program — like Bolt and Cursor — we still include and rank it on merit, because leaving it out would make the comparison less useful to you.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships never change our rankings. The order reflects testing, not commission. If a tool we earn nothing from is the better choice for you, we say so.

That funding keeps the site free and independent. It does not influence our scores, our rankings, or what we choose to criticise. We are not an official partner of any tool listed unless we state it explicitly, and product names and trademarks belong to their owners — we use them for identification and comparison only.

Keeping it accurate

Pricing and features in this category change constantly — credit systems get re-weighted, plans get renamed, free tiers shift. We date our pages, verify pricing against each tool's official page, and re-check as things move. If you spot something out of date, the figures on the vendor's own pricing page always win; tell us and we'll update.
